She moved to Aspen in 1998 and accepted the job of Skating Director for the City of Aspen Ice Facilities. Jenny is a member of the Professional Skaters Association where she holds a Basic Accreditation rating and a Hockey Level I Accreditation.
Kaitlyn Hooper – Kaitlyn began skating at the age of 3. In 1994 when the Aspen Skating Club previously performed “Grease”, Kaitlyn was cast as a “mini Sandy” at the age of 4 and has been performing in the club shows and exhibitions ever since. She has been a competitive skater since 1995 and has placed in Regional and Invitational events throughout the years. Kaitlyn has been helping with the Aspen Skating Club program since she was 12. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she began her own coaching career at the age of 16. Kaitlyn is a senior at the Aspen High School and is part of the lettering program for figure skating there. She is a member of the Professional Skaters Association and is looking forward to furthering her knowledge in coaching.

Since the start of high school, Shannon has been volunteering with the Aspen Skating Club by assisting with the group classes. Shannon has decided to pursue coaching as an opportunity to return some of the kindness and knowledge that the club has given to her.
