
Teri is the former National competitor at the championship level and has been coaching since 1976. She began her career in Denver team coaching with both Carlo Fassi and Don Laws as a National and International level coach. She has a Sports Science Degree from the University of Denver. Her choreography abilities earned her a position on the coaching team for Scott Hamilton’s Olympic tribute. Teri is a Triple Gold Medalist, sits on the Board of Governors for the Professional Skaters Associations, and is among an elite group of Professional Skaters Association Tripe Master Rated coaches being rated in Group Instruction and Figures/Freestyle and Moves in the Field. This is the highest rating available. Her passion is coaching, and she enjoys coaching skaters from beginner to competitive levels at all ages, from tots to adults.

Jenny began skating at the age of 4 and knew right from the start that she wanted to teach skating when she grew up. She began teaching in 1992 at the Winter Lodge Ice Rink in Palo Alto, CA. She moved to Aspen in 1998 and worked as the Skating Director for the City of Aspen Ice Facilities until 2009. Jenny competed at the US Adult National Figure Skating Championships in 2005 where she placed third in the artistic event and fifth in the freestyle event. She is a USFSA gold medalist in standard moves in the field and adult freestyle. Jenny is a member of the Professional Skaters Association (PSA) where she holds Registered Ratings in Moves in the Field and Free Skate and a Hockey Level I Accreditation. Jenny specializes in teaching children, adults, and special needs skaters. Jenny is also a cross-country ski instructor and racer. She and her husband Scott have 2 children, Anders and Aliya Juliana.

Born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, Greta discovered her passion for figure skating while growing up within the Aspen Skating Club environment. After years of competing and performing with the Club, she is now thrilled to share her enthusiasm as a certified coach. Greta believes in nurturing both the skater and their skills, for a well-rounded approach - encouraging her students to find a passion for skating and the self-confidence to excel - passing her love of the sport on to her students and bringing it all full circle.

Allison has been coaching for 27 years and skated competitively up through novice level. She was a regional and sectional competitor and tested through Gold skating skills and Gold singles, fourth figures, and intermediate pairs. She obtained a Masters in Education after realizing how much she enjoyed working with children through coaching skating. She loves working with skaters of all ages (tots through adults). She specializes in foundational skating skills and spins. Allison feels very fortunate to share her love of skating with the future skaters in the sport.

Austin was born in Aspen and began skating with the Aspen Skating Club at the age of 5. She was a regional competitor and junior coach through high school and passed her Senior Moves in the Field and Novice Freestyle tests. After graduating from Aspen High School, she attended the University of San Diego before moving to New York City. She moved back to Aspen in 2018 and has been coaching with the Club ever since. She is a member of the Professional Skaters Association and specializes in Basic Skills and Free Skate (Silver) level skaters.

Jessica is an upstate New York native who recently relocated to Aspen from Charleston, SC. She began skating at age 7 and competed in ladies' singles, gold-level ice dance, and synchronized skating. Now as a Learn to Skate coach, Jessica loves instilling the love for the sport into young skaters!

Kara is a former senior competitor for the Aspen Skating Club and has been coaching since high school. While at college, she competed on her collegiate team. Kara is a double Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field and Freestyle. She is working towards her third Gold Medal in Ice Dance. She looks forward to sharing her passion for skating with skaters of all ages and abilities. She especially enjoys working on jumping technique. Kara has spent a lot of time working with jump specialists and learned how to use the pole harness, a skill she is excited to bring to Aspen.
